Lately I've been thinking of buying a camera again. Though not the digital type. I thought of buying a lomo camera, they are really cute and unique, but thier prices don't really cooperate with my pockets.... So I thought of buying a Fuji Instax mini, either the 7s or the 25.
The Instax Mini 7s is the old version and it's more manual as you need to pop open the lens to turn it on. It's also more limited in terms of setting options -- it has only four. It's bulky but it looks cuter and bubblier (I especially love the Hello Kitty one!) than a 25 and it's cheaper, so on terms of price my pocket will do just fine.

The Instax Mini 25 is the latest version and is fully automatic. It has more setting options, a macro lens and a mirror for those photogenic people. It's compact but not as cute as a 7s and lil' bit more expensive. I just love the Hello Kitty one (again), it's so cute and makes the camera look less like a MacD toy. You can find out more about the two here.

Also both run on batteries, so just incase you run out of energy, just go to the nearest convenience store no need to go home to charge it. So I was ready to save my money for one of these babies since they cost less than SGD ( Singapore Dollars) 100, but after I did some more research.... The film costs more than the camera if you look at it at a long term perspective. The films cost roughly SGD12 for a pack of 10pcs. So saying that the camera costs SGD100 and I take 100 pictures then it'll cost me SGD120 for those pictures! It's such a rip off. So I'm going to be staying with my digital cameras.
So if you're thinking of buying of one of these cuties up there, think again, is it really worth it? But it's sooo cute! I can't believe my sis is still thinking of buying this. At least I'll save up for something more meaningful for the hoilidays.....
Just one last thing.... Here's a song that I've been listening to constantly (in my head and the computer). It's in mostly English and some Tamil.

Bye for now and may the odds be ever in your favour (Am I going too far in this?)
