The Exhibition

The room was full of people, of which 99% were women browsing over shoes, bags, clothes and other women stuff. I was at the exhibition held in JW Marriott. There were so many textures, colours and designs to look at. Sorry I couldn't take any pictures of the exhibition because I don't know if we were either allowed or not and at the end of the day I don't want to be fined.

To move through the crowd we needed to use our elbows and shoulders, sometimes we needed to shove (not so hard of course) in those small "alleys". It was set up like a bazaar ( FYI we're talking about those Indian bazaars, not the magazine bazaar), but it was by far so so so so (I cannot exaggerate so so so so any more.) much more cleaner and organized.

My mom bought this ready-to-be-sewed Indian clothing:

On the top left corner we've got the dupatta (it's like an Indian scarf click here to see how to wear it), next to it's the main body or the top part of the clothing and at the bottom is are the pants.

When we were buying this, this woman appeared next to mom, by shoving apparently. I could sense she wanted to buy this too,I mean it was quite a reasonably price, but she frowned at mom when the seller told her it was the last piece and mom was buying it. I think she tried grabbing it, but failed as the seller kept staring at her as if she trying to tell her it's taken . I couldn't help but feel like we've won something.

I've got myself a pink shawl:

That's all for now
C U next time
