Another Post...

Sorry can't think of a suitable title. Also I've been really busy, so you might have to wait till Friday until I can post a proper post. But for now, just a couple of videos I'd like to share:

Isn't this piggy cute? Nothing disgusting gonna happen, don't worry for those who don't like fat greasy pigs, cause this one is way too cute! It's too adorable.

Awwwww.......

This is seriously addictive after a couple of replays:

This is how a chicky hatches. But the chick looks kinda evil at the end. It's. Beady. Eyes.

That's all for now.

Little Pleasures

I was just looking at my e-mail and realized my own comments on this blogged were getting sent to my Gmail account. Smiling, I thought how insanely smart, yet stupid computers are. My blogger account is connected to my Gmail, so shouldn't it know when I post a comment? Little things like this make me think.

Like how can adults can do somethings we (as in not adults) can't do? Like, they can tell a (white) lie, but we can't? When people grow up, they get rid of some of the soap, which others have been feeding them when they were younger. They say enjoy the time when you're still young. But do these people who say this remember the peer pressure, amount of studies and self-consciousness we get? Maybe not. I do enjoy my time though!

Another thing... (bits lip) I fell for IT. Not telling what IT is. But I can't believe I fell. It's so, such a, (sighs, insert Arghhhhh!!!) cliche. My friends have this disease. I swore to myself I won't be taken, I won't be one of them obsessive crazy girls with IT. Then IT came, and went. Idiot! Fool! I'm so damn weak about IT, but at least I held longer then my friends. (groans) Grrr..... But IT is a nice change. (smirks)

Usually I don't let this kinda stuff take me. But for once letting a IT feeling (think, I gave it away) in is not bad. I just don't want to admit it. I feel songs can explain. And yes, I know people I know reads this. Damn, my big mouth.

Silent Mughals Dancing

This is NOT me, but this was basically what we did. Spin.

It all started with a long silent cue, 5 girls, including me, were twirling on to the stage. We were the dancing girls of our small school play, which only had one scene, that was staging the times of Prince Dara Shuko. All you could hear were the shuffling of our feet and the giggles that followed. I didn't chose to be there but it either was this or having a speaking part, which I cloud not possibly handle as I have stage fright.

Before the performance....

The music system wasn't working and they wouldn't let us borrow the school laptop. Pretty much why I didn't believe in this production. We've been only practicing for 3 weeks and this was the first time we are dancing to the music, on the day of the play, or so at least we thought. The teacher wouldn't even listen to our demands. I'm pretty shameless, but getting ridiculed in front of the whole of middle school is just way.....Arghhhhh!!!!

Luckily, I'm brilliant (that's different from a genius) with ideas, so we all run barefoot to get three singers. Yay Me! I'm good! I thought with a huge smirk on my face.

During the performance

With a few words I can describe it:
Most embarrassing dance EVER.

A total flop. A bad thing. The singers didn't even singer, but I don't blame them, she didn't give the microphone. So no music. Dancing is just feet shuffling in different movements without it, in my opinion.(sighs)

The only good thing I got out of this was being a fool during practices.

Btw, the dance form we were doing was called kathak, an Indian form of dancing.

The time when I was not a Superhero

Yes it's true I am not a Superhero and this song says so too:

(Click here for the acoustic version, which is awesome as well)

And it's been lying in my head since well... I can't remember. I call this evil being that makes music stick inside my head, Music villain (I know it doesn't sound original). He makes rhythms so catchy and irresistible, it's so hard to ignore the music. It really is time to face the music.

Usually the music that gets stuck in my head is so severe (basically saying most) I start singing it everywhere, regardless whether I'm in class or in my car.

And that's why I started singing in my school hallway in front of the girl's washroom when my friends said the word Superhero.

And that was my cue I started to sing shamelessly out of tune, "I, I, I don't wanna fi-i-ight.I, I, I don't wear no ti-i-ights. And I can't fly-y-y. I'm no, I'm no superhero-o-o.Oh, oh, oh"

I felt good as I stretched my arms, simulating my non flying powers and zoomed around on my legs. I finished my flash mob and my friends stood there with their eyes open, eyebrows raised and jaws unopened. They expected this out of me.

One said, "What are you wonder woman?", whilst the other started laughing uncontrollably ( her name means happy).

I'm not a person who gets easily embarrassed, so my friends and I do ridiculous things and we all are prepared to get in trouble together. That's our motto: we stay together, get crazy together and get in trouble together.

That's what friends are for.

Love/Hate Sunday Relationship Reasons

Most people either Love Sundays or Hate Sundays, I'm kinda of in between. You can look at it positively or you can look at it negatively, but I don't know which side to choose there's just so many reasons to hate it and love it. Here are the reasons why I Love Sundays, but at the same time why I Hate it:

1. There's ALWAYS MONDAY
Probably you already know this, that feeling of knowing Monday is just around the corner lurking in your calender. The feeling I hate most about it is that Sunday nights are worst, the knowing of Monday is coming is terrible. It's coming to attack you with early mornings, (if you got to school like me, if not then just work) school work and horribly slow starts in the morning.

2. It is a WEEKEND after all
Even if Sunday nights bring out the worst in you, Sunday is a weekend after all. So what if you can't stay up late (like me, but usually I stay up until 11pm or later), it is a weekend. And weekends are suppose to be fun, so why not enjoy it instead of moaning and groaning of Mondays.

3. It's the END
Ahh.... Sunday. Another weekend ending, that's why they are (Saturday & Sunday) called weekends anyways. I always feel like time is always flying on a supersonic jet on Sundays. I mean another week just ended, just like that (snaps fingers), where did the week go? I don't know.

4. Sunday DOES NOT equal to Funday
What if boredom takes over? What do I do then? Study? I don't think so (only if there's no test) Monday's coming anyways...

5. Wake up LATE
Yes, it's a fact I love sleeping in on Sunday (& Saturday) mornings. The fact that I don't need to wake up early thrills me as it means I get to stay late the night before. I especially love sleeping in during winters, I feel like a squirrel snuggling up in my tree hole all cosy and warm, then when I wake up its already nice and warm, not too hot nor too cold.

6. Get to Spend TIME WITH DAD
This is a huge point for me as my dad usually is very busy with work but luckily for my family & I he usually doesn't work on Sundays. It's great having him around the whole day, that means we can go out to eat in restaurants (real restaurants, not fast food restaurants) and do a bunch of other we don't do on weekdays.

Do you love/hate Sundays like me or do you purely LOVE or HATE Sundays? Tell me in the comments section below.

Blogs (& Sites ) You Might Like

This is just a little insight on the blogs and websites I read (in Alphabetical order):

A Day in the Life of Luma

This blog belongs to the girl who got me to blog. Her blog is full of book reviews, quirky stuff and everyday thoughts. Also she has a taste for good blogs, so if you need more to read she has a good list.

BeautyMeetsLifestyle.com

The reason I readher blog is because she knows how to organize, I don't come for the beauty stuff. I LOVE ORGANIZING!!! I am not a neat freak, but I organizing makes me calm and clear headed, which is the best way to be. She also has great study tips, which are very helpful.

Bubzbeauty

Bubzbeauty has really good tips on well lots, but mainly beauty. I'm not vain and I might care less about beauty products and yes, I don't understand half of what she says about make-up. I read it because she writes like she would talk, and I know that cause she got a youtube channel. Also I mostly read her diary entries and bubbi like section. And she's hilarious. The downside, she rarely posts.

daily eday

It's just mostly full of little things in life that's most memorable to the writer and the writing style is unique.

Elizabeth Downie

This is my favorite blog. Downie is really good at blogging and her post are always insightful and thoughtful. It really just puts a smile on face. Excellent. Found it on Luma's blog list.

mineitsmine

This blog belongs to my friend and I think its a good blog (not biased). I like they way she writes that makes things more interesting!

Michelle Phan

Again another beauty blog. But like I said with Bubzbeauty it's the writing I am interested in not the beauty part. Also her looks (especially the Halloween ones) are cool. She also knows lots about your skin and since she lives in America, the place I don't know about, sometimes she writes about American stuff I didn't know about.

Now that's Nifty

This is just a blog full stuff you never knew about and facts that will make you smile or laugh and maybe cry (I doubt crying though). It's well a nifty blog.

Template Faerie

This was the blog that caused me to change my look. It truly gives blogging advice without the fluff. Its a really, really, really helpful blog if you want any blogging advice and how to make your blog better. Downside she rarely post, the last post she made was two months ago (as of 20th November).

The Life Inside S.B

Also my friend's blog. She doesn't post much and her writing is narrative but there's a point in every entry.

Kawaii Kitchen and Fruity Cuties

Kawaii kitchen and Fruity Cuties are sister sites which just shows cute and funny cartoons related with fruits and kitchenware. Found it by looking at the cute cartoons on Luma's blog.

They Draw and Cook & They Draw and Travel

They Draw and Cook & They Draw and Travel are sister sites. They Draw and Cook shows delicious and exotic recipes in quirky drawings. They Draw and Travel shows hand drawn maps of the less traveled places of the world. It's a great site for travelers who want to visit local areas.

That's it for now! Happy reading!

My New Look & paint.net

Do you like it? It's much more cleaner and more eye catching then before in my opinion. The reason why I choose to redesign is because before my blog's design was cluttered. I have realized that the blogs that I read are blogs with a clean design, good writing content, unique material and a really catchy name.

To create my picture heading I used paint.net. paint.net is a photo editing application that lets you do as much things as Photoshop. It's easy, versatile and most importantly FREE & SAFE! To download it click here.

For me there's no downside, since I've just started to use this program. But would recommend to those who have not got this and need an application as good as Photoshop. And its FREE, which is what makes the biggest difference to me.

Also it doesn't take mach practice to use paint.net and if you're ever stuck or need help just to http://forums.getpaint.net/

NOTE: I am NOT sponsored by this company, I am just saying my own honest opinions.

When Our iPad Smart Cover got Burnt (like) Marks

So we were suppose to clean our iPad smart cover and backing case, since it was sooooo dirty and grimy; we had the time to do so we did it. It was our fault for not checking the internet first before we start cleaning,as this is our first time, its like when you misread a recipe that you think you've read sooooo carefully.

Though I only got myself to blame 'cause I was the one who suggested my sister to use this. I didn't know it was gonna be like this. She said it was tearing, I didn't listen and went back to my mindless decorating of my ring binder. So she kept using it.

And this was the result:
As we used the nail polish cleaner to clean the red marks, as it was an acid it reacted with the casing and made it look as if it survived a fire.

Here's a closer look:

Nasty, isn't?

As for the Smart Cover, it didn't suffer much:

So the moral of the story is ALWAYS double check with the Internet or else you'll get burnt marks!

Awkwardness for A Friend

This card I would give to my best friends A & K

Hehehehe.... Sorry lately I haven't been posting lately but there were alot of tests I had to study for this week. So...

Yesterday I went to my old school's website and saw the online yearbook for last year's class, then I saw my friend's picture. A light bulb flashed above my head just then, I saw that she joined the school's badminton team. Well... she's always been more sporty then me, though she wasn't really sporty, but it really hit me that moment that I don't play or train for any sport. I know I may sound lazy but I'm not I run... though everyone can run right? They make you do rounds at school so.... I thought that I'll join tennis at my school, but I'm kinda scared, don't know why. I guess it's that fear of doing something new.

Then I had a brain freeze. A thought swept by. A strange feeling. When I saw that picture I feel like I don't know her. I know her, but I don't know her. She used to be my best friend but she's change, like I have. It's awkward not knowing her like I used to, we used to be tight, can't be separated. But here I am not by her side. I wonder what she's like now. Is she the sporty girl? Or is she that popular girl who everyone loves? Or is she the gossip girl? Or is she that girl who no one sees? If she ever replies to my email, I would ask her to have a video chat with me and see the change in her and if she's the best friend I still know; if she recognizes me.

Wouldn't that be a treat? Have you ever thought about your friends that you used to know but now don't see them at all like you used too? Think about it and see how strange that feeling is, if it comes.

BEST.BOOK.EVER

The. Book.
Yep, I said it and Jenny Valentine's Broken Soup is AWESOME. I've been reading it for 3 straight days, and I've got to say I am so blessed to get it. It is full of suspense and wonder, surprises will catch you by the breath and knock you down. It will make you cry, smile and your heart throb. Thank you S.B for saying that I recommended you this book, even though I haven't read it, and so because of you I read the most thrilling tale of my life. I really wish it's not a library book, which it is, *sobs :P* I want to KEEP IT. I wonder if I can steal it hehehe..... ( evil mind currently working). It really got my mind reeling! I have to warn you that it is a shocking book.
Shout out to Jenny Valentine for being such a skilled enough writer to write such a beautiful novel. I never thought I would give such high praise to a book and I'm a major bookworm! Here is the blurb:

It wasn't mine
I didn't drop it but the boy said I did.
He stood there with this I-know-I'm-right look on his face.
I was laughing about it on the outside, feeling like an idiot on the quiet.
I had no idea something important had important had happened.

Say no more....I don't wanna ruin the surprise so if you ever can lay your eager fingers on this book, then please read it, but make sure you have time cause one you start you won't stop. It's one of those books that you just want to read, over and over and over until you have memorized it by heart.

Drink Me!

Hot Chocolate, my favorite drink this season. I love it at anytime (excluding during the hot Indian summers), especially on cold days.I just love love snuggling on the sofa with a hot chocolate and a book. Here's my special recipe for hot chocolate:

Quicky Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:
2 tbsp Milo (Or any other chocolate powdery thing like Horlicks)
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Cocoa Powder (I use Cadbury's Cocoa, but you can use any)
Hot Water
Cold Milk (Milk must be cold)

Method:
1. Put the Milo, sugar and Cocoa together in your cup. Then add 2 parts hot water and 1 part cold milk.
2. Stir, blow, then look at it lovingly as you start indulging it.

Also I've been listening to this song continually all day long! First it was weird then... It gets STUCK in MY HEAD! It's groovy... hehehehe
This too:
Bye! :)

Ni sa

I'm am STUCK

Lately my mind's been blank. Completely blank. I need ideas to flow, imma gonna blame it on all the tests that's been flowing. Probably my brain's energy has been used for all that studying. Upside I got good marks. A couple of things that I would do when my my brain's brainless (see, what I did there, not so funny? Humph. |:P) :
  • I'd Procrastinate continually.  I can be going on the computer for hours, search the web for hours on end, discovering new stuff. Maybe it be the weirdest toilet in the world or the world's newest miracle cream (just joking about the cream part), the longer I leave my to-do list , the better.
  • Sleep as long as possible. And get my ideas from the wacky dreams that happens when you hibernate.
  • Or simply read a book or do nothingness. Personally I think my best ideas come from reading and nothingness. I'm not saying become my fellow bookworm but reading a couple of books will get you some good ideas. Nothingness is basically daydreaming, but it's also thinking when you're not thinking(does that even make sense?). It's the spur of the moment kinda of a thing, it just happens. You can't tell when it's gonna come, but it will come.
Hope I helped you when your ideas are gone.
